Ottawa Green Future TalksA series of workshops to learn how to take action on climate in your everyday life.
All of our day to day activities create greenhouse gasses (GHGs) and contribute to climate change. In order to ensure healthy future communities, Ottawa has set an aggressive climate target: a 100% reduction in GHGs from community sources by 2050. That may seem like a long way off, but time flies and it'll be here before we know it.
We all need to start doing our part today to shift the trend of climate change. But it can be hard to know which changes to make and how to have the biggest impact.
This workshop series will help you understand how your everyday life contributes to climate change and provide you with strategies, tools and resources so that you can make the best choices. You'll be surprised to learn how making small changes can have a really big impact!
